Sync-ZPAgentPublishingServer

Triggers a sync (App-V-style verb: mirrors `Sync-AppvPublishingServer`).

Syntax

Sync-ZPAgentPublishingServer [-Method <string>] [-Machine]

Description

Triggers a sync (App-V-style verb: mirrors Sync-AppvPublishingServer). Without -Method it RESPECTS the policy toggles - it runs the machine pass only if Agent/MachineSyncEnabled and the user pass only if Agent/UserSyncTaskEnabled, mirroring what the scheduled sync does. -Method is the explicit override: All forces both passes regardless of the toggles, Computer forces the machine pass (asks the LocalSystem service - no elevation needed here), User forces the per-user pass (inline in this process with the user token). -Machine (alias -Global) = -Method Computer. Cmdlet alias: Invoke-ZPAgentSync.

Parameters

-Method <string>

Explicit override: All | Computer | User. Omit to respect the policy toggles (the default).

-Machine <switch>

Back-compat / App-V alias for -Method Computer.
